De la forme d\u2019onde au sonagramme, en passant par les graphiques utilis\u00e9s dans les plug-ins ou ceux permet- tant de visualiser les diff\u00e9rences entre les presets des synth\u00e9tiseurs, ces repr\u00e9sentations ob\u00e9issent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement aux m\u00eames exigences centr\u00e9es autour de la notion d\u2019interface utilisateur. Si l\u2019analyse musicale s\u2019est souvent content\u00e9e de r\u00e9utiliser les logiciels de cr\u00e9ation, depuis une dizaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es plusieurs projets de logiciel d\u2019aide \u00e0 l\u2019analyse commencent \u00e0 voir le jour. Les exigences sont alors diff\u00e9rentes des logiciels de cr\u00e9ation, ils mettent aussi bien souvent en \u00e9vidence l\u2019absence de r\u00e9flexion et le retard des humanit\u00e9s num\u00e9riques sur la cr\u00e9ation artistique.
